When we speak of service, the service of humanity stands above all. Our revered Gurus and spiritual teachers have always guided us to extend compassion and support to our fellow beings, especially those who are weak, unwell, or suffering emotionally and mentally.
The impetus came in May 2016, when Gurpreet Singh was running a dhaba (roadside eatery) on G.T. Road, Doraha, Ludhiana, and encountered a severely paralyzed person named Arun Kumar Shukla who collapsed near the dhaba. Gurpreet, with help, provided basic care (food, clothes, etc.), posted his photos to locate his family. The man’s own family declined to take him back.
To achieve our vision and mission, we believe in collective efforts. Our work is only possible through the collaboration of compassionate volunteers, generous donors, reputed hospitals, and like-minded organizations. By joining hands, we can rescue more people, provide them with proper medical care, and create a homelike atmosphere filled with dignity and love.
The Dream House, lovingly called “Supneya Da Ghar”, is the heart of Manukhta Di Sewa Society. It is a shelter home where abandoned, homeless, sick, and mentally or physically challenged individuals find care, dignity, and hope. Here, they receive food, medical treatment, counselling, and, above all, a family-like atmosphere.
Manukhta Di Sewa Society (MDSS) takes its social responsibilities with utmost dedication by rescuing the abandoned, caring for the sick, supporting the underprivileged, and spreading awareness against social evils like drug abuse and superstition. We strive to build a compassionate society where every individual is valued and no one is left helpless on the streets.
Manukhta Di Sewa Society (MDSS) has been recognized for its selfless service with various awards and certifications from respected institutions and authorities. These honors reflect the trust and appreciation of society for our humanitarian work and inspire us to continue serving the needy with even greater dedication.
At Manukhta Di Sewa Sab Ton Waddi Sewa Society, our daily operations are centered around care, rescue, and rehabilitation of the most neglected sections of society. Our team of volunteers, caregivers, and medical professionals work tirelessly to ensure that every individual we rescue is given dignity, treatment, and a chance at a better life.
