Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
The "Supneyan Da Ghar" (House of Dreams) sports festival commenced early on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Our elders, mothers, sisters, and children participated with immense enthusiasm. The event kicked off with the children participating in 5km and 10km races, where every face reflected the joy of victory and eyes were filled with an unyielding spirit. Various games were organized for our God-like children, elders, and family members, in which everyone took part with great zeal.
These games were not just about winning; they were a testament to the fact that if one’s courage is high, no obstacle can stop them from moving forward. Whether it was the wheelchair race, the walker race for the elderly, or the 100-meter sprint for children—each event gave us a new perspective on life. The elderly men and women, who have endured incredibly difficult circumstances in their lives, stepped onto the field today to leave those sorrows behind and make a fresh start.
The God-like children receiving education at the special school within "Supneyan Da Ghar" are now making themselves capable members of society. Children who once struggled with basic self-awareness were today striving with all their might to secure the first position in various sports. Their race is not against others, but a victory over their own circumstances. This spirit, in itself, is a monumental victory for them.
On the second day, Sunday, April 12, 2026, the sports festival continued with a magnificent display at "Supneyan Da Ghar." In this sports fair, children from the House of Dreams (who attend various schools) were joined by children from the village. Together, they showcased their incredible talent and athletic prowess.
The children delivered outstanding performances in various events and won wonderful prizes. The highlights included thrilling 100m, 200m, and 400m races, as well as Long Jump, High Jump, and Tug of War, among other exciting competitions. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
The primary objective of these games organized by "Supneyan Da Ghar" is to raise awareness among children about sports and health, aiming to create a healthy and noble society. Sports teach children discipline and instill the passion to move forward in life. Let us all pray together that these children remain connected to sports, stay healthy, and grow up to be good human beings who bring honor to society.
