Tarlochan Singh
03, December 2025With the grace of Waheguru Ji, on 3-12-2025, the Manukhta Di Sewa Parivar received the opportunity to serve Bapu Tarlochan Singh from Railway Station Sirhind, District Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. The elderly man was lying in extremely miserable conditions, where worms were eating into his leg, tearing his flesh apart. The sight was so painful that it brought tears to the eyes.
During the conversation, Bapu slowly shared that his father’s name is Harnam Singh, who was a teacher by profession, and that he himself belongs to Faridabad. Hearing this shook us even more—how could a simple, gentle elder from an educated family end up abandoned on the streets of Punjab like this? What helplessness or cruelty pushed him into such hellish circumstances—this, even he could not fully explain.
Bapu’s leg was in a severely damaged condition. Worms were crawling out of his decaying skin, and he was desperately trying to pull them out himself. Weak with hunger, he was longing even for a single meal. When we gave him food, he kept crying in pain while eating, “These worms are eating my leg…”
His words pierced straight into the heart.
Without wasting a moment, the Manukhta Di Sewa Parivar brought Bapu to Supneyaan Da Ghar. The worms were carefully removed from his leg first, after which further medical treatment was started. He was provided with clean clothes, a warm bed, nutritious food, and a loving, caring environment so he could recover both physically and emotionally.
We humbly request the entire sangat to do Ardaas for Bapu Tarlochan Singh—that he fully recovers, that his leg heals completely, and most importantly, that he reunites with his family soon.
May Waheguru bless Bapu’s life with happiness again, and may he spend the rest of his years in peace and love with his dear ones.
