By the grace of Waheguru, the Manukhta Di Sewa Parivar was blessed with the opportunity to serve Rajvir Kaur Ji on July 11, 2026. She was brought to us from Pratap Avenue, Amritsar district.
Rajvir Kaur is a well-educated young woman who completed a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) diploma. She had even gone to Canada to pursue her studies but returned to India after about six months. Sadly, life took an unexpected turn, and today she is struggling with serious mental health challenges.
Once a young woman who was determined to achieve her dreams, Rajvir now seemed lost in her own world. The condition of her home had deteriorated drastically, with piles of garbage and filth scattered everywhere.
Rajvir's father, Pushpinder Singh Ji, who was a veterinary doctor, passed away in 1997. After his death, she lived with her mother, Parminder Kaur Ji, and her brother, Gurbeer Singh Ji. However, tragedy struck again when her mother, who worked in the Health Department, passed away in 2021, followed by the death of her young brother, Gurbeer Singh, in 2025. These heartbreaking losses deeply affected Rajvir, causing her mental health to deteriorate even further. According to her maternal uncle, she has been suffering from depression for the past 5–6 years.
Rajvir has four maternal uncles living in the same city, one uncle living in Chandigarh, while another maternal uncle has passed away. The family shared that they made every possible effort, within their means, to care for and support her. Unfortunately, during that period, Rajvir was not in a condition to accept anyone's help or guidance. After her father's death, the family also lost regular contact with her paternal relatives. As a result, she was left alone in a house filled with everything necessary for daily life, yet with no one to care for or use those belongings. She was living in extremely unhygienic conditions, enduring a life of isolation and suffering.
People in the neighborhood had also become frightened because of her behavior. Despite these challenges, we patiently spoke with Rajvir and, with love and compassion, were finally able to bring her to Supneyaan De Ghar. Her maternal uncle, Virinder Singh Ji, accompanied her to the shelter.
We humbly request everyone to keep Rajvir Kaur Ji in your prayers. May Waheguru Ji bless her with good health, restore her strength, and give her the opportunity to begin a new chapter of life filled with hope, dignity, peace, and happiness.
