By the grace of Waheguru Ji, on 14 June 2026, the Manukhta Di Sewa family received the opportunity to serve Mrs. Narinder Kaur and her daughter Gagandeep Kaur from Patti Khalil, Sherpur, Tehsil Dhuri, District Sangrur, Punjab.
For many years, Narinder Kaur had been living in extremely difficult and heartbreaking conditions at her parental home. She is well educated, holding Master's (M.A.) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degrees, and once had a happy family life. However, about 20 years ago, her husband passed away. Following his death, she was accused of being responsible for it. Although she was later acquitted through the legal process, the trauma of the incident deeply affected her mental health, and she eventually lost her mental stability.
Narinder Kaur's in-laws live in Mangewal, District Patiala. She has two children—a son and a daughter. After her husband's death, her son was kept by the in-laws, while Narinder Kaur returned to her parental home with her daughter, Gagandeep Kaur. Since then, the in-laws have never contacted them again.
Gagandeep Kaur completed her education up to Grade 12 (Higher Secondary) and also completed a beauty parlour training course. Unfortunately, the family's circumstances greatly affected her life as well. Her maternal grandfather, Des Raj, has passed away. She also had a maternal uncle who left home about three years ago, and since then, there has been no information about his whereabouts.
To ensure proper care, medical treatment, and a safe environment, Narinder Kaur and her daughter Gagandeep Kaur have now been brought to Sapnian De Ghar (House of Dreams).
We humbly request everyone to pray that, with Waheguru Ji's blessings, both mother and daughter recover soon, find happiness once again, and spend the rest of their lives with dignity, peace, and hope. 🙏
